Born of Steel, Forged in Fire

With over 70 years of experience and know-how, and 1 million tons of steel supplied (and counting) worldwide, SSH remains the region’s premier choice in the supply of high-grade materials and finished products.

In 2010, SSH joined the AT&S Group of Companies. This was followed by being awarded the HSBC Singapore’s Leading International Business Award in the following year.

We were honoured to be a key contributor to the building of the Shell Eastern Petrochemicals Complex in Singapore in 2006. This facility laid the foundation to Singapore’s entrenchment as South East Asia’s Oil & Gas hub.

Our exponential growth culminated in the successful listing on the SESDAQ of the Singapore Stock Exchange in 1995 as Sin Soon Huat Ltd.

Born in 1940, Chop Sin Soon Huat survived the tumultuous years of Singapore’s founding and, hand in hand with our country’s own growth, expanded to become one of the region’s largest industrial material suppliers.

Our Facilities

Located at the heart of the industrial hub of Singapore, we operate a modern 200,000 sqft storage centre and marshalling yard – one of the largest in the country.

We have a fleet of more than 18 vehicles, which includes two 40-feet prime movers, to ensure seamless and on-schedule deliveries.

We have a dedicated showroom and live demo centre where we carry out product demonstrations for the welding equipment and cutting machines we sell.

We also have 200,000 sqft of warehousing facilities located in the Batam Free Trade Zone to serve the Riau business community and cater to increase storage demand with easy access to Singapore.

  • MRO Blanket Agreement (ongoing)
    • Fixed price contractual agreement with Singapore Refinery Company to provide steel pipes, valves, fittings & flanges to support the daily MRO requirements
  • Became a wholly-owned subsidiary of AT&S Pte Ltd.
