Services

With decades of experience in and service to the energy sector, SSH has continually built on its capabilities to provide you with the most comprehensive solutions.

MRO refers to maintenance, repair and operations, and consists of items necessary to keep a facility running, such as spare parts, lubricants, repair tools, industrial equipment, safety equipment, and cleaning supplies. There are generally 3 types of maintenance:

Preventive — regular checks done to keep machinery and processes running smoothly, fixing small problems to prevent any major ones
Corrective — maintenance and repairs done after a problem has occurred, including breakdowns, malfunctions, and wears and tears
Predictive — carried out based on data obtained from monitoring systems and processes

As MRO items are usually purchased on a regular basis, we offer inventory management services, which will reduce time lags and the stresses of stocking. Our MRO services guarantee effective coordination, no price fluctuations, no cost of inventory, shorter lead times and quality control. Value-added services provided include blasting, galvanising, painting and machining, and coating.

In addition, we provide alternative materials for the short-fall or top-up, without compromising on our clients’ requirements and expectations.

Furthermore, we provide logistical support such as procurement services and inventory and materials management to ensure all items are delivered on time and only when they are needed. Post-project services such as disposal of surplus materials are also available.

We provide VMI services where we manage and plan the inventory of pre-agreed product(s) at a pre-designated location for our clients. The planning stages and extensive information sharing are vital in understanding our clients’ needs and requirements. This ensures our ability to maintain a high degree of visibility of goods on location, which then allows us to replenish and stock at appropriate levels, alleviating our clients’ stresses of having to reorder when supply is low or has been exhausted, thus also reducing the time lags that come with this.

We have built partnerships with contractors to enhance and widen the scope of services offered. With this, our customers are provided with more complete solutions, such as maintenance, construction, and modification services for an existing oil/gas field. The services provided include:
